Understanding Rescale Credits

Credits are workspace-scoped and cannot be shared

What Is a Rescale Credit?

A credit is a platform-level adjustment applied to a workspace to offset charges on the Rescale platform, such as compute, storage, transfer, or software usage. Unlike a deposit, a credit doesn't involve money changing hands — it's simply a reduction applied to what a workspace owes.

Rescale offers a few credit types, including Rescale Credits, Platform Credits, Software Credits, and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Credits from AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Things to Know

  • Credits are applied to a single workspace and are managed by Rescale Support.

  • Credits cannot be transferred or shared between workspaces.

  • If your organization needs coverage across multiple workspaces, deposits are the appropriate mechanism — reach out to your Account Executive or Account Manager to discuss options.
